Please vote for one of our players as he competes for the national championship.

Please vote for one of our own (Chris Kester) as he competes for the Sheuneenio Tennis Ball National Championship.  The challenge is to see how many juggles they can do with the tennis ball.  He's a finalist and needs your support.  Please go to the www.gotsoccer.com website and vote for him before the end of the year.  You'll need to vote by "liking" it.

Congratulations to our very own Russ Klaus

Congratulations to our very own Coach Russ.  He will be inducted into the Akron University Hall of Fame this upcoming February.  During his college career, Coach Russ was recognized as an All-Ohio Valley Conference performer and left the school as an All-American his senior year.  Coach Russ has been a great volunteer to our program for years and has worked tirelessly to make ours the best program in the area.  All of his friends and fellow volunteers are very proud of him for all his collegiate accomplishments and for what he continues to give back to the community.  Well done Coach Russ.

A3 United earns promotion to NCSL Division 1

A3 United (U15B) earned promotion to NCSL’s prestigious Division 1 this upcoming Spring.  United won the Division 2 championship this Fall by compiling a 6-1-2 record.  More impressively, our boys were the only team to go the entire season without any cards being issued while the other nine teams averaged 10 cards throughout the season.  Great sportsmanship, skill, and dedication allowed the boys to achieve this elusive and impressive objective.  Lastly, it should be noted the boys did it while also playing soccer for the following schools:  South River, Archbishop Spalding, Arundel, Key School, Severn, Bowie, McDonogh, Howard, and DeMatha Catholic.

Crofton High School

Time to support the efforts to get a high school built right here in Crofton.  Visit the Build Crofton High School facebook page to start building momentum.

UPDATE: You can sign the on-line petition from our very own A3 website.  Look for it on the right side of the page under the Coerver logo.

Vikings

A3 Vikings had a great season. Allowing only 8 goals in 8 games in NCSL Div 3. They will stay in Div 3 for the Spring 2013. Vikings will play several high level tournaments over the fall/spring and look forward to a successful spring. Great work by the players, Coach Jim and Coach Jesper.

Pretty in Pink!

Welcome back Coach Jesper

Welcome back to Coach Jesper. After a year away in Norway, Coach Jesper is coming back to work with the appropriately named U16B Vikings. For those of you who know him, you know it's a great thing for the kids and the program. He has a great understanding of the game and a passion for teaching the kids. We're certainly lucky to have him back.

All that being said, he could use a little help with regard to understanding professional and international soccer! Welcome back friend but go Team GB!!!

Rising U17B Fusion coached by Kamran Amini

We can do better.

Yes we’re aware that our A3 signs (Rt. 424 and Bell Branch) have been vandalized. We’re obviously saddened that a small group of obnoxious people take their own personal problems and ruin it for the rest of the community through criminal behavior. The intentional destruction of property hurts the volunteers who coach, the kids who play, and the parents who live and support our community.

Summer Training Photo of the Day

Al Alvarez Scholarship Fundraiser

Encourage everyone to drop in at the scholarship fundraiser this Thursday at the Irish Channel from 5:30 PM until 10:00 PM. The scholarship is in memory of Al Alvarez, a huge supporter of soccer in the state of Maryland. Al was a Crofton resident when he passed away two years ago at the age of 44. His daughter still participates in our soccer program. Al, always a soccer enthusiast, was also involved with BSA, BSU, SAC, and DeMatha Soccer.

Although this is not a CAC fundraiser - like most scholarships - it is a good cause.
