Rising U13 Boys

The Crofton Athletic Council’s rising U-13 Boys select travel teams (DOB 8/1/98 - 7/31/99) are holding tryouts on Thursday, June 2, at 7:00-8:30pm, on Saturday, June 4, at 10:00-11:30am, and Tuesday, June 7, at 7:00-8:30pm. The Crofton Revolution is currently playing in Division 3 of the National Capital Area Soccer League (NCSL). The Lightning Strikers plays in the Baltimore Beltway Soccer League (BBSL). Coerver Coaching runs four practices per year for each team compliments of CAC. In addition, the Revolution funds professional training with Rick “Stimmo” Stimpson, Director of Training at Coerver Maryland and three-time All-Ivy League Player at Cornell University. Tryouts will be held Bell Branch Athletic Complex - 2400 Davidsonville Rd., Gambrills, MD 21054 - Field D4 on June 2 and 7 and Field C on June 4. Athletes should attend more than one tryout session. Playing travel soccer is a one-year commitment to play in Fall 2011 and Spring 2012. Select teams play in tournaments, and parents pay tournament fees and other team costs. Youth players who do not play on the NCSL or BBSL teams may play with CAC in the Anne Arundel Youth Soccer League (AAYSL). Placements for AAYSL teams will be held after the CAC fall soccer registration period closes, if needed. Rising U14 Boys

The tryout dates for the rising U14 boys age group are: Thursday, May 26th (7:00-8:30) on Field A; Wednesday, June 1st (7:00-8:30) on Field B; and Saturday, June 4th (2:00-4:00) on Fields D2 and D3. The tryouts will take place at the Bell Branch Complex - 2400 Davidsonville Rd., Gambrills, MD 21054.

The age group will sponsor two premier NCSL teams, one classic BBSL team, and at least one AAYSA team. If you cannot make the tryouts due to injury or travel, please contact us for personal accommodations. Please direct any questions to soccer@croftonsports.com.

Rising U11 Girls

The rising U11 girls will hold their tryouts on Wed 5/25 at 7:00pm, Thu 6/2 at 7:00pm, and Sat 6/4 (tbd). The tryouts will take place at the Bell Branch Athletic Complex on Davidsonville Road. The age group has the Crofton Crush (WAGS - Premier) and AAYSA county teams. Girls born on or after 08/01/2000 are welcome to the tryouts.

Rising U16 Boys

Current U15 (Rising U16) Crofton Blast Boys Soccer Team playing in the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) D2 and Maryland State Cup Semi-Finalists will hold tryouts on the dates listed below. Must be younger than 16 as of August 1, 2011. The coaches are Bill Quinn (USSF National D License) and Jim Bell (former college player and coach). The team trainer is Coerver head trainer and former all-Ivy League college player Rick Stimpson. Rising U16 Girls

Crofton Freedom rising Girls U-16 soccer team is looking for a few soccer players. Tryout dates/times are tentatively scheduled for Thursday June 2, Tuesday June 7, and Thursday June 9, all from 7 - 8:30. Additional tryouts as necessary. In the Fall, we play BBSL and play in a Columbus Day Tournament, offer Futsal/indoor over the winter, and play BBSL in the spring, along with a pre-season and post season tournament. The Crofton rising U-10's will have three tryout dates in June: the 7th, 8th and 9th. The tryouts for the NCSL (premier) and BBSL (classic) teams will take place at Bell Branch. U16B BBSL Cannons

Crofton Cannons rising U16 Boys BBSL soccer team is seeking several AGGRESSIVE players and goalies to join our team - must be born on or after August 1, 1995. We have a committed team of players who are looking for YOU to complete our roster.
Head Coach Carlos Goncalves (S License) is MSYSA Certified and has experience as former 2003-2005 Coach of HCYSA and the previous twelve seasons with AAYSA. Winter Futsal/Indoor Soccer and currently BBSL. November 2010 Finalist Mountain Road Tournament.

Tryouts will be held on Wednesdays May 18th and 25th and June 1st and 8th from 7-8:30 pm Bell Branch Field D and Saturdays May 21st and June 4th from 10:30-12:30 Bell Branch Field D. U17G BBSL Crush

Crofton Soccer Crush - rising U17G select soccer team, is seeking motivated players born on or after Aug. 1, 1994 to play in the 2011/2012 seasons.  Tryouts will be held May 21 from 10:00 to 11:30 AM and May 23 and May 26 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.  All tryouts will be held at Bell Branch Park, Davidsonville, MD.
